Cylindrical piping protects buttons against impact and improves their operation, and gaskets inside the buttons prevent the entry of fine sand and dust particles. The rugged designs of these watches are in the image of the special purpose vehicles and tools that are used by disaster relief teams.
Wide hour and minute hands and large Arabic numeral hour markers provide easier reading under harsh conditions, and the band has a distinctive non-slip texture, rounding out a tough no-nonsense design. Different materials are used for the bezel to create a two-layer structure that adds a new dimension of shock resistant. For models that use stainless steel in the upper part, shock absorbing resin is employed in the lower part. If resin is used in the upper part, fine resin is used in the lower part to cushion against impact from the upper part. This also has made it possible create a wide range of different designs.
The GST-S110 model expresses the hardness and beauty of metal.
A hand shift feature temporarily moves hands out of the way with the press of a button for easy reading of digital display contents, while double LED face illumination keeps information easy to read at all times.

Base model is the GA-710, whose multi-dimensional and bold index is created using CASIO original molding technology. Designed in the image of an accessory or fashion item, the overall finish of this model is matte black, which really brings out the brilliance of the faces. The stainless steel front button also contributes to the distinctive look.
The buckle of the blue model has an IP finish of the same hue.
